Broncos eye move to Merton

London Broncos chief executive Nic Cartwright has targetted a possible move to Merton.

The Broncos have signed a one-year tenancy agreement to play at Brentford football club's Griffin Park this season having played at Charlton Athletic last year.

It is their 15th ground in 20 years and Cartwright is determined to get the club playing at their own stadium.

Merton council have announced plans that they will redevelop Plough Lane whether Wimbledon move back there or not.

Cartwright added that the move to Merton is one of six options that Broncos are considering.
