Brazilian star plays down move to Man City

Julio Baptista has played down reports linking him with a move to England during the January transfer window.

The former Arsenal loanee, has been linked with a possible move to Manchester City in the summer.

Baptista has been in fine form for Brazil

City are thought to be lining up an approach for the Brazilian when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Baptista is well down the pecking order at Real, but the former Sevilla man insists he will stay at El Santiago Bernabeu to the end of the season at least.

"I want to continue here with Real Madrid," Baptista told Marca

"We'll talk at the end of the season.

"I don't know about England. No-one has said anything to me."
