Gareth Paine and Chris Lowe scored two well-worked tries from set-pieces ina powerful start from Beaufort against Broadlands and by half time RobWhite had crossed twice.

Broadlands came back well but some outstandingtackling, especially from Matthew Peart and Paul Smith kept them at bay andTom Baylis's try sealed a 33-3 win for the home side.

Gillotts won aphysical game 34-12 at Cokethorpe where both sides showed they could tackle.

Gillotts, from Henley, had a strong wind behind them in the first half andscored two tries and their strong play in the loose plus good handling sawthem through despite Cokethorpe producing two well-worked scores in thesecond half.

Full back Ian Davey, scorer of four tries, was outstanding asQueen Elizabeth's Hospital won the all-Bristol clash with St Bede's 60-7while the strong running of Michael Surlis, Ben Husted and Adrian Griffithswas a feature as Claires Court overcame a determined Forest side.
