Bayern deliver Beckham snub

Bayern Munich claim they would never want to buy David Beckham because of the media circus that would follow his pop star wife.
Bayern's general manager Uli Hoeness is a big admirer of Beckham.
However, he insists the Bundesliga team would not want Beckham at Munich because of Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham.
Bayern are trying to rid themselves of the 'FC Hollywood' tag they were given in the 1990s and Hoeness feels the presence of Posh Spice would cause nothing but trouble for the club.
"I only think of the fact that his wife, this Spice Girl, would come along as well," he said "That would be beautiful for the media but not for us. I do not need theatre."
