Back where he belongs

The Lions have called on Neil Back to help them put Australia out of their misery in Melbourne tomorrow.

The Leicester open-side, fully recovered from the abdominal strain which kept him out last week in Brisbane, returns to the open-side berth, with Richard Hill reverting to blind-side and Martin Corry to the bench.

'I wanted the team to win last week -

but being selfish I didn't want them to win too well, ' said Back. 'I don't think anyone would have predicted that result. Now we have the massive job of trying to repeat it.'

Coach Graham Henry, forced to announce his team earlier than planned, has Matt Perry available after recovering from groin trouble, but Austin Healey's heroics against ACT were not enough to unseat Dafydd James. Matt Dawson is retained on the bench despite his shocking attack on the management.
