Austin hits out at penalty decision

Crystal Palace defender Dean Austin today criticised the penalty decision that cost his team a point at Preston.

Palace, who lost 2-1, looked set to claim a precious First Division point until Matt Clarke tangled with Richard Cresswell and the referee gave a penalty.

Austin said: "I don't know how the referee has awarded a spot-kick. Both players were just trying to get up."
