Usain Bolt has refused to confirm that this summer’s World Championships in London will be final event of his career, although he does admit that it will be the end of what has been an “emotional” season.

The Jamaican sprinter will likely run in both the men’s 100m and the 4x100m relay in August, but has reiterated that he will not be defending his 200m crown.

Speaking in Ostrava before an IAAF world challenge event, Bolt and his coach Glen Mills are clearly focussed on the upcoming challenges rather than what could happen after the World Championships.

"We haven't fully made up our mind on what we're doing yet. I'm not worrying about that until the World Championships or at least getting close to it.

"Right now, I'm just focused on getting through the season. I just like entertaining the crowd. I definitely want to try and enjoy every minute of it - it won't be the same sat in the stadium."

Since 2009 Bolt’s only failure to pick up a World Championship gold medal in his three specialist events came after a false start in the 100m in 2011, and he was in reflective mood of his achievements.

"It's just been a great career. I've really enjoyed the ups and downs, all the experience I've gathered, all I've been through, the happiness and the sadness.

"It's been a wonderful career and I've done everything I've wanted to do and it's coming to an end and I'm fine with it.

"It's an emotional season."
