Another friendly sicky from Giggs

14 April 2012

Wales may have a new manager in John Toshack, but it seems some things will never change.

Manchester United's Ryan Giggs has pulled of tonight's game against Hungary due to a hamstring strain.

It is a problem Toshack's predecessors also had to come to terms with. Giggs has played in 71 per cent of his country's competitive matches since October 1991 but in only five friendlies.

For his first game in charge, Toshack will use Craig Bellamy in attack, even though his bust-up with Newcastle manager Graeme Souness, and his loan move to Celtic, mean he has not played since 15 January.

Wales v Hungary, tonight, 8pm (live on Sky Sports 1)
