Zach Braff has discovered his face is being used to sell erectile dysfunction medication.

The actor tweeted a picture of an advert – reportedly from Russia – on Wednesday, which featured his character from the hit sitcom Scrubs, John “J.D.” Dorian.

He poked fun at the ad, jokingly posting it alongside a facepalm emoji.

And it appears the Garden State star has many fans in that part of the world.

One person replied: “We love you here, in Russia.

"Even if your penis doesn't work anymore (the add [sic] is for curing male distinction)."

Another added: “Lol, in Russia, Zach Braff 'reinstates masculine strength,' which I'm pretty sure is a euphemism for curing impotence."

And Braff has since discovered that his likeness is also being used to advertise computer repairs.

It turns out he's not the only one receiving such publicity.

Others on Twitter were quick to point out the use of other celebrities likenesses to push tech services, including Ben Barnes and Zac Efron.
