Set your watch to Caribbean time and lose any thoughts of getting around in a hurry. It's simply not possible during the two days Carnival takes over W11.

Tubes near the Carnival route itself are closed, roads are crammed with people, buses packed brimful and don't even think about bringing the car. If you're able, your best bet is to walk from a tube stop further afield.
