Sharon Osbourne has announced the name of daughter Kelly’s baby boy after the 38-year-old welcomed him with partner Sid Wilson in November.

The former X Factor judge, 70, revealed the tot’s moniker, Sydney, during a conversation with her co-stars on Tuesday’s The Talk (January 3).

Discussing her new grandchild on the TalkTV show, Osbourne also gave an update on how Kelly was doing following the birth and shared: “They’re doing just so great. So great.

“She won’t let a picture go out of him and I’m so proud of her.”

Kelly announced in May on social media that she was pregnant with her first child - and was candid throughout her pregnancy as she discussed getting diagnosed with gestational diabetes in her final trimester.

Aside from welcoming a new grandchild, Osbourne’s return to screens comes after she was hospitalised after falling ill on the set of her TV show.

The TV star was taken to hospital last month while filming the programme in California, with her rep revealing she had fainted.

Osbourne made her first appearance on her TalkTV show since the incident and opened the episode by saying it was “great to be back in the UK”.

Admitting she had a “quiet” Christmas, the presenter went on to speak about her ill-health and revealed no one knows why she fainted.

She shared: “It was a weird thing. I was doing some filming and suddenly [passed] out for 20 minutes and I was in hospital. I went to one and then went to another.

“I did every test over two days, and nobody knows why [I fell ill].”

Osbourne first publicly addressed the incident earlier in December, after it was revealed that she had fainted and needed medical attention.

Sharing a photo of one of her dogs in front of her Christmas tree, she wrote on social media: “Back home and doing great! Thank you for all the [love].”

Following her stay at Santa Paula Hospital, her son Jack, 37, took to Instagram to let fans know she was home again after being given the green light by her medical team.

He wrote: “Ok here is what I’ll say. First things first MY MOTHER WASN’T A EPISODE OF @ghostadventures. She was filming a new episode Night of Terror with me.

“Now that we have made that clear… She has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home.

“As to what happened to my mum – I’m gonna leave it to [Sharon] to share about when she is ready.”
