It might sound like a rather rude word for a former royal reporter to be uttering on teatime TV.

But Jennie Bond scooped contestants on Countdown when she announced her eight-letter contribution to the letters round: 'foreskin'.

The I'm a Celebrity star, who was guest dictionary consultant, said: 'We've got a couple of eights. Is foreskin all right?' And then the 53-year-old burst into a fit of giggles and collapsed at her desk.

Co-presenter Carol Voderman rolled her eyes in amusement as she spelled out the word - made from NMIEORKSF - in giant letters on a board.

Other rude words made from randomly chosen vowels and consonants have included 'orgasmed' and 'fart'.
