Rihanna has reportedly been seeing a confidence counsellor to help with self-esteem issues.

Despite her confident demeanour, the singer was seeing a life coach before coming to the UK to perform.

Rihanna apparently set up sessions with psychologist Natalie Thomas ahead of her performance at London Westfield Stratford City, for which she paid £500,000.

A source close to the star said: “Rihanna was incredibly nervous ahead of her November 2012 Westfield gig because there was a lot of pressure on her. Her appearance fee had already been reported and she didn’t want to be a disappointment.”
