Musicians are responding in droves to the worsening humanitarian crisis in Sudan. At tonight's benefit gig for the UN refugee agency, a host of singers performs the wonderful works of Cole Porter.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra supports David Gray, Chrissie Hynde, Simply Red's Mick Hucknall, Eighties discodiva Jocelyn Brown and Alison Moyet, as well as soprano Barbara Hendricks (right) - the longest-serving UN Goodwill Ambassador - and Greek tenor Mario Frangoulis.
