Kimberly Stewart and Benicio Del Toro celebrate the birth of their new baby girl
Actress-model Kimberly Stewart and Benicio Del Toro are celebrating after she gave birth to a baby girl.
Kimberly, 31, daughter of rocker Rod Stewart, gave birth yesterday at a Los Angeles hospital.
The baby, who has yet to be named, was 22 inches long and weighed 8 lbs 9 oz.
According to Us Weekly, Rod, 66, and his wife, Penny Lancaster, 40, were at his daughter's side as she delivered his grandchild.
The baby was conceived during a short fling between Stewart and Del Toro, but they are no longer together.
A representative for 44-year-old Benicio confirmed to the publication in April that he was the father.
The actor's spokesperson told the magazine: "Benicio is the father and very supportive.
"Although [he and Kimberly] are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby."
