A bitter High Court case between Peter Andre and his ex-wife Katie Price was settled today after she apologised and withdrew claims that he had an affair with his manager and did not want to see his disabled stepson.

Andre, 38, sued the reality TV star for libel and slander over comments she made accusing the Australian singer of not loving her son Harvey and of cheating on her with his manager Claire Powell.

Price, 33, today agreed to pay undisclosed compensation for the "hurt" her allegations caused Andre. He is to put the money into a trust fund for Harvey. Price also agreed to contribute towards her ex-husband's legal costs.

Her comments about an alleged affair, made on the Graham Norton Show in 2009, were not broadcast but were heard by the audience.
