Jude finally gets back in Sadie's bed

Movie heartthrob Jude Law fled his home after his boiler blew up - and made the bizarre choice of camping out in ex-wife Sadie Frost's bedroom while she was on holiday.

The 33-year-old dad-of-three was forced out his six-bedroom Maida Vale pad last week when the explosion led to carbon monoxide poisoning throughout the mansion.

He immediately feared for himself and his kids - Rafferty, 11, Iris, seven and his youngest, Rudy, five - and after, calling the fire brigade, they moved out straight away.

But, despite being a multi-millionaire, Jude shunned the idea of checking into hotel and instead stopped at Sadie's.

Luckily, the 41-year-old fashion designer was away, staying in a £2,000-a-night suite at an exclusive resort in the Maldives with her business partner Jemima French.

A source close to Jude revealed: "He didn't feel that it was safe for him to stay at his so after dropping the children back to their mum's, he thought it was best to stay there too. It was very strange he didn't go to a hotel as it's not like he's short of money or anything but instead he went back to hers.

"What was even more strange was that he slept in her bed."

Naturally, Sadie was concerned when hearing the news - especially because she was due to fly back to London shortly and the last thing she wanted when she got back was to find her ex languishing in her bed.

Our impeccable source added: "Sadie was on the phone making sure that Jude had vacated the house before she got back. She wasn't all that angry, because she understood that Jude needed somewhere to stay and at least it meant he could be close to the kids.

'But she still found the whole situation bizarre. She was worried that it might cause a bit of a difficult situation if Jude was there when she returned."

Jude and Sadie split three years ago after numerous bust-ups, and since have moved on and dated other partners.

Law famously dated Sienna Miller until they recently split for good. Sadie, however, has most definitely developed somewhat of a penchant for the much younger toyboy since they went their separate ways.
