There was not an expletive to be heard, but Gordon Ramsay certainly raised eyebrows, and a sweat, as he relaxed by the pool.

And while he is certainly known for being short, he is not  so well known when it comes to wearing them - at least not ones this tight.

Sporting a pair of teeny swimming trunks, the fiery chef, who is on holiday with his wife and four children, looked relaxed as he soaked up the sun in Beverly Hills.

But it seems the Hell's Kitchen star overdid it with the sunbathing as his burnt skin was almost camouflaged by the terracotta wall behind him.

The pasty star turned a whiter shade of red as he sunbathed and read a magazine with his wife by his side.

Mother-of-four Tana looked toned and terrific as she flaunted her tanned figure in a green and white bikini.

The Ramsays are no stranger to holidays in the sun.

Last month, he was snapped looking very red after overdoing the sunbaking in St Tropez.

The 41-year-old's chest was covered in a deep sunburn at the exclusive French resort.
