Eminem's ex goes to jail

Eminem's ex-wife has been sentenced to jail after being found guilty of skipping a court- ordered drug treatment programme and going on the run.

Twenty eight-year-old Kim Mathers, was sentenced to a year in jail by Judge Edward Servitto at Macomb County Court, Michigan, who made it clear he was tired of her antics. However, she will have to serve only 140 days, after which she will be released to a drug treatment programme near her home in Michigan.

If she does not complete the rehabilitation programme, she will be sent back to prison for another year. Mathers has twice dropped out of a court-ordered drug treatment programme, and served jail time earlier this year.
