Courteney Cox brought a very special plus one with her to the premiere of Scream VI, her daughter Coco Arquette.

Cox shares the 19-year-old with ex-husband David Arquette, who she originally met while working on the very first Scream movie back in 1996.

The teen looked right at home as she posed next to her famous mum on the red carpet at the event in New York on Monday.

She has been by the Friends star’s side a lot over the last couple of weeks as she promotes the latest instalment of the horror franchise.

Most recently she was on hand to cheer her mum on as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last month.

Cox even gave her daughter a sweet shout out as she accepted the prestigious honour.

“I’m still in the process of working on my longest and most important projects,” she began, then thanking boyfriend Johnny McDaid “for teaching me to be a better person.”

“And thank you, Coco, for reminding me every day that I’m not,” she laughed as her daughter shouted out that she loved her.

“Coco, that means that I do a bad job! You’re perfect,” she added. “No, seriously, Coco, it’s not easy to grow up in this business. And I just want you to know you shine your own unique light and I love you so much, and I’m so proud of you. I’m proud to be your mom.”
