This Morning viewers mock David Beckham lookalike: ‘He’s more like Brian Dowling’
This Morning viewers took to Twitter to mock a David Beckham lookalike who they claimed looked more like Brian Dowling than the former England footballer.
Andy Harmer was on the ITV show to promote Channel 4’s new series Lookalikes which follows Harmer’s agency and career as a Beckham doppelganger.
Speaking about life as a Beckham lookalike he said times have been tough following Beckham’s retirement from football.
"It’s not as good as it was when he was in his prime and captain of the England team,” Harmer said. “Now he's retired, I thought I've got to find something to give me life after Beckham.”
Viewers were quick to mock Harmer with one tweeting: "Worst lookalikes I've ever seen. David Beckham? Pull the other one. Hope this isn't your day job. #TMLookalikes (sic)."
Another posted: “I look more like David Beckham and Rylan than what they do #TMLookaLikes.”
The show also saw Rylan Clark-Neal come face-to-face with his doppelganger, Danny Maczka.
The guest perched alongside Clark-Neal in a matching jumper and shirt as the pair struck identical poses.
Harmer and Maczka were also joined by Gordon Ramsay lookalike Martin Jordan and John Di Domenico who works as a Donald Trump lookalike.
