Katie Price has revealed she is longing for a job working the tills in a supermarket – in particular ASDA.

The former glamour model, 39, said she is ‘craving normality’ after more than two decades in the limelight.

“Sometimes I think I would love to be behind the till in Asda and just play shops,” she told The Sun.

“I want to hear the beep noises and be on the checkout. I crave normality and things like that.

Stressful: Katie Price with her mother Amy Price

“When people meet me they realise that I am normal but then they know what my job is and it is strange for them to put the two together because we're completely different.”

It has been a “stressful” year for the mother-of-five who has suffered a miscarriage, witnessed her marriage break down, endured threats to her son Harvey and been dealt the devastating news that her motherhas a terminal lung disease.

She said: “This year has been so stressful. I feel like I couldn’t run anywhere.

“If you just think the past two months I had a miscarriage, got told Kieran was cheating that my mum is dying and the threats about Harvey – it's like how much can one person take?”

Price said she refuses to let herself sink into a depression and has turned to exercise to help her “feel good”.

She said: “I could either go down the route of depression but I have decided I am going to get fit and find something to occupy me to make me feel good.”

Her comments come amid her public spat with Love Island star Chris Hughes, who branded her a liar after she accused him of sending her “flirty messages”.

The pair became embroiled in a feud after Price denied sending the TV star messages, only for him to publicly post them online.

Hughes then went on an expletive-ridden Twitter tirade against her, calling her a “rotten piece of s***” after she later revealed the messages she claimed he sent back to her.
