Taylor Swift’s music video director has hit out the Kardashians following their online row with the star.

Joseph Kahn, who directed Bad Blood, Blank Space and Wildest Dreams, has dubbed Kim Kardashian the 'most untalented woman in the world'.

Writing on Twitter after Kim Kardashian posted a video of Swift’s phone conversation with Kanye West, in which they discuss the lyrics to song Famous, he said:

“The irony of one of the most untalented women in the world attacking one of the most talented.”

Sticking up for the 26-year-old, he added: “I've worked with everybody. I don't need to work with anybody. Taylor is a rainbow in a swamp.”

Wading into the row over whether or not Swift gave her approval of a lyric in West’s song, he wrote:

“Kanye didn't say the line "I made that b**** famous" on the call. It's like saying "I want to love you" without "in the a**."

Not pulling any punches, Kahn continued: “People always ask me how to be famous. My answer is simple. Have your dad defend murder of a woman. Release sex tape. That's it. Good luck.

Others stars including Selena Gomez, Ruby Rose and Chloe Moretz have spoken out in Swift’s defence, after the video was posted on Kardashian’s Snapchat on Sunday evening.

Swift posted a statement of her own, which read: “Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that b****' in his song?

“It doesn't exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone's emotional response to being called 'that b****' in front of the entire world."

“He promised to play the song for me, but he never did.

"While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot 'approve' a song you haven't heard.

“Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination.”
