The pop princess, who has been swarmed with rumours that she is about to release new music, took to social media to tease her fans over their excitement.

Swift shared an image of her cat Olivia looking stunned on Instagram and captioned the post: “She just read all the theories.”

Earlier this week, Swifties flooded social media with their workings out which appeared to claim the star had been posting a subtle countdown after a picture which showed five palm trees emerged on her Instagram page.

The snap was followed up by a picture of Swift sat on the sixth step and then another of her looking through a fence with five holes.

Whilst her most recent post appeared to tease fans, supporters of the I Did Something Bad hitmaker were left convinced the image still fit with the theory that she is counting down the days to a release.

Many claimed that her famous pet is four-years-old, which fits with the countdown theme.

One excited user wrote: “Isn’t Olivia four years old? If so that might be a clue.”

“What is Taylor is only going to post the next hint of #TS7 if we solve the previous one? We didn’t get a clue yesterday but Olivia is 4 years old, which means she didn’t jump a day ahead,” added another.

Ahead of the Reputation’s release, Swift went off the grid completely before coming back with revenge song Look What You Made Me Do.

Swift, who has been known to drop hints ahead of a release, is yet to confirm the speculation.
