Strictly Come Dancing has yet to hit TV screens – but the latest celebrity sign-ups have already been warned of the ‘curse’.

EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami is said to have been reminded of the curse after reportedly being partnered with newcomer, Nadiya Bychkova.

The Ukranian dancer – who previously posed naked for Playboy in Slovenia – is one of three new professionals to join the BBC ballroom show.

A source told The Sun: “Everyone has been teasing Davood that he's bagged the dancer everyone else wanted.

“Nadiya is drop-dead gorgeous. Who wouldn't want to dance with her? She's also a top, top dancer having been world champion twice.

“He's got a lot to learn and hopes she can teach him a thing or two.”

Ghadami has been with his wife Isobel – who he has daughters Eva and Grace with – since 2010, while Bychkova is dating Slovenian footballer Matija Skarabot.

Strictly returns to TV on Saturday, and will see the celebrities partnered up with a professional.

The show will also feature a “moving” tribute to Sir Bruce Forsyth. The legendary entertainer, who died, aged 89, last month, presented the show alongside Tess Daly for a decade.

New head judge Shirley Ballas today opened up about the performance, warning viewers to have tissues to hand.

Speaking on Lorraine she said: “I think everybody will have to have their tissues. It’s just the most beautiful dedication to him of his life.

“It was moving, it was just beautiful. He was iconic,”
