Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has dodged questions about his alleged rant made against his co-stars.

The 53-year-old supposedly blasted head judge Shirley Ballas, accusing her of having “fake” breasts and hit out at host Tess Daly for being “dull” when speaking to contestants, according to The Sun.

He then reportedly moved on to judge Bruno Tonioli branding him a “proper attention seeker.”

When quizzed about the comments on BBC Breakfast, Horwood said: “I have to say isn’t there more pressing news?

“A journalist has been murdered, wouldn’t that be better to put on the front of the paper in my opinion.

“Brexit, let’s talk about that. Something that’s actually going to change our lives.”

He added: “I think there’s other things to talk about that are far more important than that particular story.”

According to reports, the comments were made during his book tour in Oxford last week.

A source told the publication: “Craig has rubbed everybody up the wrong way with his comments including senior people on the production team and his fellow judges.

“Shirley was particularly upset by his comments which were personal. She felt him making comments like that so publicly was just malicious and very unfair, and she isn’t really talking to him.

“The comments were totally out of order and that has been made clear to Craig.”

Standard Online has contacted representatives of Horwood and Strictly Come Dancing for comment.
