Stacey Solomon shared a heart-warming insight into family life as she posted a smiling photo of boyfriend Joe Swash and baby son Rex snuggled up alongside her.

The Loose Women panellist grinned up at the camera in the sweet snap, with her newborn nestled between her and Swash, who looked lovingly at the one-month-old.

“Today I realised I haven’t got any pictures of me, Joe and the baby other than on the day he was born,” she wrote alongside the picture.

“So today I made sure we got one. The way he looks at him melts my heart.”

Solomon’s celebrity friends flooded the post with praise, with her Loose Women co-star Saira Khan describing the picture as “gorgeous.”

Radio host Lisa Snowdon said the trio were “just beyond adorable” while presenter Rochelle Humes branded the snap “cute.”

Former JLS star JB Gill noted a family resemblance, suggesting that Rex “looks like Joe.”

Solomon and Swash welcomed their son “a lot earlier than planned” in May and said that they were “overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come.”

The former X Factor contestant has been candid about her experiences with anxiety following the birth and last week revealed that she headed to a lavender farm in an attempt to “switch [her] brain off.”

“Couldn’t keep my mind still today,” she wrote on Instagram on Friday. “It was wondering [sic] off into some strange places.

“After spending the morning googling every which way to switch my brain off I came to the conclusion that because lavender was mentioned in almost every ‘keep calm’ remedy that I needed to visit a lavender farm.”

She conceded that the trip “didn’t get rid of [her] anxiety” but ensured that she “thought less about anything scary” and “took [her] away, even if just for a couple of hours, from the dread.”

“If anyone reading this feels the same, getting out and occupying your mind might help, it does with me sometimes,” she suggested.

She also advised others to contact mental health charities and added: “I’m not ashamed to say I speak to someone from my local team regularly.”

Solomon is also mum to Zachary, 11, and Leighton, seven, from previous relationships. Swash also has a 12-year-old son, Harry, with his ex-fiancee.
