Stacey Solomon today shared an adorable picture cuddled up to her six-year-old son as she revealed he misses being picked up during her pregnancy.

The Loose Women panellist, who recently announced she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Joe Swash, snuggled up to Leighton in the pool-side snap.

After enjoying a day at the swimming pool, Solomon revealed her tot had missed being picked up following her recent pregnancy.

She captioned the post: “Leighton: ‘Mummy you haven’t picked me up since you started growing our baby.’ Me: [crying emojis]. So today we went swimming, although there was hardly any swimming at all.

“I carried L up and down the pool about a thousand times with him wrapped around me like a baby monkey and it was just everything. I’ve missed having him on my hip (even though he’s far too big for that now. I still really miss it.)”

The adorable post comes hours after Solomon’s other half Swash joked that he was a lonely boyfriend after he got left out of a group hug between the singer, Leighton and her eldest son Zachary, 11.

Sharing a snap of the TV personality relaxing on her sofa, Swash mocked that he has “no chance”.

After being quizzed on her romance with her other half by her sons last week, Solomon said she is “happy” how she is in an interview with the Sun.

Solomon and Swash announced they are expecting their first child together last month.

Unveiling the news, Swash shared pictures of Solomon sleeping and joked that he had been worried she had become “bored” of him, but was relieved to find out she “still loves me very much [and] has just been growing a baby”.
