Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth file for divorce after two years of marriage
Shia LaBeouf and wife Mia Goth have confirmed they are filing for divorce.
The Transformers actor split from the 24-year-old model after two-years of marriage.
A representative for LaBeouf told the Standard: “The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”
The notoriously private pair are said to have met while working on Lars Von Trier’s 2013 film Nymphomaniac: Vol II.
They were reported to have tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in October 2016.
But Nevada’s County Clerk reportedly claimed that there was no record of the duo filing for a marriage licence, saying it was a commitment ceremony.
LaBeouf later told Ellen DeGeneres that the pair were indeed married.
The American actor is thought to have started seeing the 30-year-old British singer after meeting on the set of his new film, Honey Boy.
The pair were pictured together leaving the Water Me hit-maker’s home as they ventured out for a supermarket run.
A source told the publication: “They are very happy, having a nice time.”
