Scott Disick has described Kourtney Kardashian as a “best friend” who he will love until the day he dies.

Disick, 32 – who split from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star after nine years together – said they are now "in a great place".

Speaking on Kyle and Jackie O's KIIS show he said: “She’s my best friend I love her till the day I die.”

Defending their break up last year he continued: “I don’t think anything is ever simple I’m not the first person in the world that has gotten separated from their significant other.

“We’re just trying to make the best of it and life goes on. Things aren't easy but things are going very well. I'm just happy that we are able to be on good terms.

Addressing the reports that he was dating other women, he said: “No, I mean it’s unfortunate that you can’t have friends this day and age.”

The pair – who have Mason, six, Penelope, three, and Reign, one – have been spending time together and the reality star recently shared a Snapchat video telling fans they were back together.

But he insisted that he doesn’t know what the future holds for their relationship, finishing: “I never thought a lot of things were going to happen in my life the way that they did. I don’t really rule anything out. I have no plans in my mind of what’s going to happen. If things are meant to be maybe they will be. I really don’t know yes or know.”
