Scarlett Moffatt’s ex Lee Wilkinson has been accused of attempting to get back with his former girlfriend while he was dating the TV star.

Samantha Irving dated the personal trainer for two years and claimed they were still together when Wilkinson and Moffatt went public with their relationship in December. Lee has insisted that there was no crossover between the relationships.

Moffatt took Wilkinson with her to Florida last month where she was filming the finale of Saturday Night Takeaway. Miss Irving claims he bombarded her with messages on his return, claiming he was crying down the phone as he begged for her to take him back.

Miss Irving told the Daily Mirror: “He was crying down the phone about how unhappy he was with her, saying he just needed to hear my voice, asking why I didn’t beg for him back.

“On the phone when he was crying and saying she wasn’t me, I can’t look at photos of you because it’s ripping my heart out.

“I actually felt a bit sorry for him so I unblocked him on WhatsApp and all the messages piled up.”

Miss Irving claims she reached out to Moffatt to warn her that Wilkinson is “a liar and a cheater”.

She said: “She just seemed to be so in a little love bubble with him and I just felt like she’s oblivious to what he actually is completely but I can totally relate to that.”

Moffatt last week sparked speculation that she had split from her boyfriend of five months, and hinted that she had been cheated on.

Speaking in an Instagram video she told her followers: “For anyone that needs this right now, I just want to say if somebody feels you're not enough for them then that isn't a reflection on you, that's a reflection on them.

“Unless you're Henry VIII, then one girl's normally enough.”

She also reportedly took to Facebook to lash out about the fitness instructor, calling him a “pathological liar”.

Standard Online has contacted a representative for Moffatt for comment.
