Rihanna now has more number one singles under her belt than Madonna and Michael Jackson.

The pop superstar has become the artist with the third most number one tracks in US history after her new record Work topped the Billboard chart this week.

Previously tied with the King of Pop, Rihanna now has 14 chart-toppers, compared to Jackson’s 13.

She is just behind Mariah Carey who currently has 18 number ones and The Beatles who clocked up 20 in their time.

The Barbadian singer’s newly-released single Work, featuring Drake, has clawed its way to the top of the charts after being released a couple of weeks ago.

Anti is currently at number three on the album charts, while it’s at number nine in the UK.

Rihanna is gearing up for her Anti world tour, despite being forced to push it back and cancel a number of dates last week.

Reps for the star have cited ‘production delays’ as the reason for the last minute change while the UK cancellations are down to ‘logistical reasons’.

Despite her change of schedule, the Rude Boy singer is still scheduled to perform at The Brit Awards this week and has just been announced as a V Festival headliner.
