Rebecca Humphries has vowed to never speak to ex-boyfriend Seann Walsh again, after photos were published of him kissing his Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones.

The actress revealed that she will struggle “to trust anyone again” following the scandal, and suggested that she will consider therapy to help her cope.

“I am getting on with things but when it comes to dating, it will be tricky to trust anyone again,” she told Grazia.

“Still, if it takes seeing a therapist to help me learn how to, I’ll do it; I’d rather find a way through this and be able to live my life again.”

She went on to reveal that she never intended to “destroy” anyone by opening up about their relationship, and added: “Seann and I haven’t stayed in touch – and we won’t be in contact again. There’s a wall between us, and that’s been really important.”

Images of Strictly contestant Walsh kissing his dance partner outside a London pub were published in October. Shortly after, Humphries released a scathing statement on Twitter, confirming that she had broken up with her boyfriend of five years.

She revealed that the photographs had been taken on the evening of her birthday, and accused Walsh of calling her “psycho/nuts/mental” for believing that “something inappropriate was going on” between him and Jones.

Humphries later told The Hotbed podcast that she was “glad” that the scandal became so public, because she may “never have known that I am not crazy”.

“It’s just my circumstance and I can’t feel bitter about it, I can’t feel angry or vengeful about it, it’s just how it is, really,” she said.

Walsh and Jones, who is married to fellow Strictly dancer Neil Jones, apologised on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two after the photos were published, describing the kiss as “a huge mistake.”
