Pink staged a “thrilling” show in Denmark just 48 hours after a small plane reportedly carrying her crew and management team crashed.

The jet was landing at Aarhus Airport when it collided with the turf and burst into flames on Monday evening.

No one was hurt in the incident and Pink is believed to have not been on board.

Now fans have praised the 39-year-old’s performance in the city of Horsens, which was part of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour, but criticised the sound quality.

Jakob Hedegaard-Høgh, of Horsens Folkeblad, said it “set the bar high” for future performances.

He said: “American mega-star Alecia Beth Moore put a big, bold dot under her name in her artist name P!nk, as she, and a team of equilibrium dancers and exquisite musicians, set the bar for good entertainment on Wednesday night – [more] than any super league team can immediately dream of.

“After a two-hour show, she ended a thrilling evening with yet another solid reason why her name will be remembered at Casa Arena, when she again used [a] string…to catapult across the stage edge to the finale.”

He later added sound issues made it difficult to hear everything, but added: “most of it could be forgiven on Wednesday night.”

Jeppe Elkjær, writing for BT, said the show was “immensely entertaining” but said the sound was "the worst detail".

“During a total of six acts plus extras, Pink and a group of spectacular dancers performed one more wild and impressive circus number after another. And here it is, the circus in the best sense of the word.

“The absolute worst detail was that the sound - and especially the drums and vocals - was thrown from the stage down to the end wall and back… and unfortunately, completely impossible to abstract from.”

But Claus Visbye, director of event management company Horsens and Friends – which ran the event – praised the show, telling Horsens Folkeblad: “It was a fantastic concert. It was clear that Pink and her team were present. You could feel that they liked being in Horsens, even though it was the third-last job on the Europe tour.”

Her dancers – dressed in pink – were pictured posing theatrically throughout the show as they performed her classic hits such as Get The Party Started and So What.

Horsens and Friends confirmed the incident on Tuesday and said the concert would go ahead.

In a statement they said: "Horsens & Friends have been in contact with Live Nation Denmark on Tuesday, confirming that it was the crew from Pink's tour who was aboard the plane that crashed Tuesday night at Aarhus airport.

"Everyone who was on board is doing well, and has escaped without injury.

"The concert on Wednesday will be completed as planned.

"We look forward to welcoming the audience to Horsens and we look forward to the concert tomorrow night."

The plane - a Cessna 560XL - reportedly caught fire as it descended and crashed into turf, after which DR claimed fire crews arrived on the scene to put out flames.

Police said 10 people on board were four US citizens, two Australians and one British national.

They added they could not comment on the circumstances or possible causes pending an investigation.
