Piers Morgan laughed as he smoked a joint with Mike Tyson when they recorded the boxer’s latest podcast.

The Good Morning Britain host raised his eyebrows as Tyson handed him a roll up, laughing as he put it to his mouth to take a puff.

In a clip shared on social media, the presenter asks Tyson: “What am I supposed to do with this Mike?"

“Smoke it,” Tyson replies before cheering as Morgan takes a puff.

Cannabis is legal for both medicinal and recreational use in California, over the age of 21 for the latter, where Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast is recorded.

Fans revealed they were “shocked” to see Morgan being “down” with the idea of smoking, with some saying it was something “they never thought they’d see”.

Describing his day with Tyson, Morgan wrote in his Mail on Sunday column: “As our chat wound up, I picked up one of the remaining spliffs on the table, looked at Tyson and said: ‘When in Rome, Champ… got a light?’

“He exploded with laughter as he passed me a lighter and carried on roaring as I lit up the joint and took a long – legal! – puff. We hugged again and he handed me a goody-bag of gifts of the leaf variety.”

After previously railing again women who complained about the pain of childbirth, Morgan was left in “utter agony” as he was hooked up to a simulator live on Good Morning Britain.

Morgan endured “contractions” at level 20 and level 50 before begging for the machine to be turned off when the dial came close to 60.
