Paddy McGuinness has broken his silence to pay tribute to his “supportive wife” weeks after he was pictured arm-in-arm with Nicole Appleton on a night out.

The Take Me Out presenter, 44, used International Women’s Day to praise Christine McGuinness, who he said he is “blessed” to have in his life.

He tweeted: “To all the ladies out there and my amazing, strong, supportive wife! A fantastic mother to our 3 wonderful children, we’re all blessed for having you in our lives. Thank you for everything @MrsCMcGuinness #internationalwomensday2018.”

Paddy posted the tweet alongside a trio of pictures of his wife.

Christine also took to Twitter to thank all those who have supported her in the wake of their alleged relationship troubles.

She shared the words “Thank you all” alongside a post reading: “Behind every successful woman is a tribe of successful women who have her back.

“Thank you for supporting me recently, you have touched my heart, built up my strength and given me my faith back in others.”

Paddy and Christine hit the headlines after he was pictured with All Saints singer Appleton in Soho last month.

Appleton was trolled online following the reports, with the singer and Paddy later unfollowing each other on social media.

Christine later hinted at troubles after liking a cryptic Instagram about seeking revenge before tweeting: “When you realise you deserve so much more.. that’s not a bad thing.”

Paddy was then seen comforting his wife days later at a park near their home in Cheshire.

The celebrity couple - who married on 4 June 2011 - have twins Leo and Penelope, four, and one-year-old daughter Felicity.

In 2017, they revealed that their twins are autistic, with Christine fighting back tears on Loose Women when she opened up about the diagnosis.
