Deone Robertson has spoken out about her face-off with Zara Holland on Loose Women.

The current Miss Great Britain, who was given the crown after the title was stripped from Holland, has insisted that hasn’t ‘done anything wrong’.

Speaking to The Sun during a Facebook Live Q&A, Robertson admitted that the appearance on Thursday’s show was more ‘fiery’ than she’d anticipated.

“I think basically Zara was going on Loose Women anyway and obviously with regards to the Miss GB organisation and what happened, they’ve not really had their say about it so the idea was that if we both went on it we could both have our say on it,” she said.

“But it was a little more fiery, should we say, then I anticipated.”

She added: “She has a lot of things she wants to say as well. I managed to get some of my points across.

“It’s difficult because we are coming from two different stances and I get why she would be upset.

“At the end of the day I’m not the one that’s done anything wrong and I think this is what people are failing to see.

“I never stole the crown, she made the decision, she made the choice.”

Robertson also claimed that Holland hadn’t done as much charity work as she should have done since winning.

“This is where we failed to see eye to eye. She says she did but we have just seen her on red carpet. You need to keep up your duty which means doing charity stuff,” she said.

Holland was stripped of her title after sleeping with Alex Bowen during this year’s series of Love Island, describing it as a ‘devastating loss’ on Loose Women.

In a tense exchange with Robertson, Holland said: “You didn’t win the title. In my opinion, if it was the other way around, I would stand up for women.”
