Megan Barton Hanson has revealed she is bisexual in the wake of her split from Wes Nelson.

The reality star opened up about her love life, saying she would be open to dating men and women in the future.

“After this broken heart, I feel like, yeah. I’ve dated girls in the past. It’s not like I wouldn’t do it,” she told new! magazine.

She said she feels she has a responsibility to speak out with her new platform and to break down the taboo around bisexuality.

“The more we’re all open about it, then the less taboo it becomes.”

Barton Hanson said Nelson was too young for her and that despite her blaming Dancing on Ice bosses for teaming Nelson up with the “hottest” professional skater Vanessa Bauer, she had underlying issues with the young star.

Speaking about Bauer's alleged frosty attitude towards her, Barton Hanson said: “As a woman it would have been so easy for her to reach out, but when we met she was very cold.

The pair were pictured partying together at Tape nightclub, but Brake insisted the pair are friends.

One fan asked “You and Meg? What’s the deal?” to which he replied: “Just out n about with my mate….”
