Sir Paul McCartney calls in famous friends including Kate Moss and Johnny Depp to help out on his latest video.

The stars, who also included Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep, dropped into Studio 2 at Abbey Road to film the promo for his song Queenie Eye, which will receive its premiere tonight.

The former Beatle is seen in the film recording a track in an empty studio, which goes on to fill up with people reacting to his song while he performs and is blissfully unaware of their presence.

Moss and Depp famously dated in the late 1990s. Also in the film are designer and film-maker Tom Ford and model Lily Cole.

The lyrics to the song are based on a childhood chant Sir Paul remembered from his days growing up in Liverpool: "Queenie eye, queen eye, who's got the ball? It isn't in my pocket. O-U-T spells OUT."

He said of the song: "Those kind of things always stick with you. I always liked the rhythm of the chant".

Sir Paul's latest album New came out last week and he launched it with a free pop-up gig in London's Covent Garden, performing on the back of a truck.

The video will be premiered online by Vevo today at 5pm.
