Did Love Island's Ellie Jones 'support' former EDL leader Tommy Robinson on Facebook?

Love Island star Ellie Jones has appeared to support far-right activist Tommy Robinson in a series of Facebook posts.

The 22-year-old, from Kent, was sent into Casa Amor last week to come face-to-face with ex Jack Fincham during the show’s twist.

Jones will remain as part of the successful ITV2 show after coupling up with Sam Bird upon his return to the main villa.

But posts appearing to support former EDL leader Robinson have since emerged, with fans sharing them on social media alongside calls for her to be removed.

In one post believed to be from May 2017, Jones appears to put three 'OK' emojis above a post praising Robinson and a speech he had made.

A clip of Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was also shared in the post.

A second post, believed to be from June 2017, has Jones add three clapping emoijis to a video.

ITV have been contacted for comment.

In the latest episode of the hit summer show, Jones got to know her former flames new girlfriend Dani Dyer as the pair went for afternoon drinks.
