Olivia Attwood has offered a harsh warning to Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer as they prepare to leave the Love Island villa and ease back in to the real world.

Attwood, who reached last year’s final with then boyfriend Chris Hughes, said the pair need to go off grid if they are to last.

The winning couple made their relationship official in the house, confessed their love for one another and even agreed to move in together – but Attwood is sceptical.

Speaking on Capital Breakfast she said: “I mean, look, I mean Chris, like we did the opposite and put all the pressure on ourselves and did everything. Like if you want it to last probably just try and say no to some stuff. Like keep some normality.”

Attwood told ‘Jani’ to look to Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt who shunned reality TV and the limelight in favour of charity work at a refugee camp on leaving last year’s show.

“Look at Camilla and Jamie, they’re still together I believe,” she said. “Like, they’re the only ones and they’re off the grid. Go to a refugee camp.”

Fincham and Dyer were crowned the winners of Love Island 2018 by host Caroline Flack after receiving more public votes than Laura Anderson and Paul Knops, Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel, and Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson.

Amber Davies, who won last year’s series with then boyfriend Kem Cetinay, also offered a warning to the new couple, saying their romance will either be “exhausting or a success story”.

“Kem and I realised we weren’t meant to be after just one week of the series ending,” she told The Sun.

“But I thought by splitting up I was going to break the nation’s hearts and he felt the same.”

She added: “Jack and Dani will know right away too [whether their love is real]. Their relationship will either become exhausting or a success story.

“If they do reach a point where they want to split then they mustn’t stay with each other just to please other people or their fans.”
