Lady Gaga and Rami Malek proved they really are the friendship everyone wants after the singer came to the rescue when Malek suffered a fashion slip-up.

The A Star is Born actress sweetly adjusted the Bohemian Rhapsody star’s bow-tie before settling into their seats at this year’s Oscars.

The adorable gesture didn’t go unnoticed and was deemed “wholesome” by viewers.

One tweeted: “Lady Gaga fixed Rami Malek's tie on the red carpet and it's too wholesome.”

Another commented: “I love these two, Lady Gaga and Rami Malek Lady Gaga straightens Rami's bow tie.”

Others couldn’t resist mocking Malek over how many people attempted to straighten his bow-tie throughout the evening, with one writing: “How many people did it take to straighten Rami's bow tie and WHY was it still crooked?”

“Rami Malek can act, but damn he can’t tie a bow tie,” another teased.

Malek took home the coveted Best Actor gong for his role as Queen icon Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, but fell off the stage on collecting his gold statue.

The star showed no signs of injury as he celebrated his win by popping open champagne at the Governor's Ball.

Opening up on the “tough battle” he’s been through, Malek told reporters how he is “proof anything is possible.”

Malek beat Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Willem Dafoe with his win and shared a sweet embrace with girlfriend Lucy Boynton who he gave a sweet shout out to on stage.

“Lucy, you’re the heart of this film,” he said. “You are beyond immensely talented. You have captured my heart.”
