A costume company has designed a Halloween costume inspired by Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was bound, gagged and robbed of a reported £9 million worth of jewellery by five men at her apartment earlier this month.

California-based Costumeish has created a "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit" complete with Kardashian’s signature black sunglasses, her $4million ring, a mouth gag and rope.

The item – which is being sold for $69.99 (£56) – doesn’t directly name the reality TV star but a description reads: “She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth, and hedonism but all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewelry [sic] and her peace of mind.

'Disgusting': Kim Kardashian 'Heist' costume

“This Halloween have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the Queen of Social media.”

The website shows a model wearing a white bath robe with her wrists tied up with the rope.

The costume has sparked outrage online with some branding it "disgusting" while others called for the website to be "shut down".

One person commented: "Why in the world do you think this is okay?? This is someone's wife and mother. Imagine a low class store such as yourself trying to make profit off of something that is making fun of someone you love.

"Just because she's famous doesn't make her less human. I hope she sues the f*** out of you."

Another wrote: "How immature and pathetic do you have to be to even think about producing a costume like this. Distasteful.

"How would you feel if that was someone you knew or a family member. She is a daughter, sister and mother. And you're just going to profit off of her horrible experience?! Wow. The world we live in."

Others tweeted their shock at the disturbing costume.

The mother-of-two has reportedly stepped up her security in the wake of the terrifying attack.

US site TMZ reported that she will travel in an armoured car and be accompanied by at least two armed bodyguards at all times and has held meetings with former Israeli army officers, CIA agents and Secret Service members.

Kardashian cancelled a planned appearance in Dubai following the attack and her sister Khloe and half siblings Kylie and Kendall Jenner followed suit.

Filming has also stopped on Keeping Up With the Kardashians as the family recover from the attack. An E! spokesperson for the show, which propelled the family to fame said: “Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now.

“No decision has been made as to when production will resume.”
