Kim Kardashian has confirmed reports that she is planning on expanding her family with husband Kanye West.

The couple, who have daughter North, four, and one-year-old son Saint, are keen to try for a third child.

Speaking to Hollywood Reporter, Kardashian said: “I hope so. There have been a lot of things said and Kanye and I have not confirmed anything.

“We're definitely trying. We are hoping so.”

The mother-of-two failed to address reports that she has sought help from a surrogate who is three months pregnant.

Doctors told her that it could be dangerous if she fell pregnant again because she has suffered from placenta accrete.

Kardashian previously admitted to being open to the idea of surrogacy, telling her mother Kris Jenner: “I've come to the conclusion in my mind that I can't carry another one. So now I want to explore surrogacy.”

Kardashian confirmed her plans for another child as she celebrated the 10th anniversary of her family’s reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Kim and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and their mother Kris marked the occasion with a photoshoot for the Hollywood Reporter.

The famous family opened up about Caitlyn Jenner’s transition in 2015, Kourtney’s split from Scott Disick, and the truth behind Kim’s $6 million wedding to Kris Humphries.

Kim said she didn’t want to marry the US basketball player, and revealed her mother tried to stop her on the day.

“There was all this attention on the wedding, and I thought maybe it was just the pressure of the show giving me this anxiety,” she said. “My friends told me I just had cold feet, but even the producers said, ‘You don't seem happy. You don't have to go through with this.’

“The night before, my mum pulled me aside, off camera, and was like, ‘This isn't it for you. Why don't you go away and I'll handle it?’”

Kim said she wanted to pull out but feared a backlash from fans. She went ahead with the wedding – which pulled in 10.5 million viewers – but was granted a divorce 72 days later.

“I felt like, if I pulled out now, everyone's going to think I just did it for the show,” she said. “Then afterwards, people were saying, ‘You have to stay married for a year,’ but I physically couldn't do it.

“When I made the decision [to divorce], everyone said it was made up for the show. Everyone really wanted to take me down.”
