Kim Kardashian has accused the paparazzi of photoshopping her famous behind to make it look bad.

The reality TV star, 36, hit the headlines in April after she was pictured with what appeared to be cellulite on her bottom.

The pictures sparked a backlash from fans who questioned the many ‘natural’ selfies she has posted in the past on social media.

But Kardashian has now defended her figure, claiming the images were deliberately altered to look “way worse”.

Speaking on US chat show, The View, she said: “I saw these awful photos of myself when I was on a trip in Mexico and people were photoshopping them and sharpening them.

“I definitely was not in my best shape. I hadn't worked out in about 12 weeks. I'd had two surgeries on my uterus. We documented that on the show.”

She continued: “So I was already not feeling like myself and when people were like sharpening them and making them look way worse and then those were going around, I was like ‘Ok, I'm going to get it together’ and I started working out with this bodybuilder girl that I found on social media.”

Kardashian was photographed in several bikinis while holidaying in Mexico to celebrate her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s birthday.

The alleged unedited images of Kim infuriated some of her Instagram followers with one branding her “all fake head to toe” while another called her the “queen of Photoshop”.

Piers Morgan also took aim at the reality TV star after she described herself as “flawless”.

“The great thing about these pictures is she’s not flawless” he said on Good Morning Britain. “She’s like every other woman and every other man. None of us are flawless – present company excepted. The unexpurgated, uncensored, un-airbrushed Kim Kardashian.”

Morgan’s co-presenter Susanna Reid praised Kardashian for her curvy figure and encouraged women to celebrate cellulite.
