Kendall Jenner enjoyed an adorable reunion with her father Caitlyn Jenner as the pair worked the cameras at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

The duo were all smiles as they embraced one another while posing for pictures on the red carpet before Caitlyn allowed her daughter to fly solo.

Caitlyn showcased effortless Hollywood glamour as she sported a gold sequin dress with batwing sleeves.

Supermodel Kendall opted for a risque black dress, which featured two splits all the way up to her hips.

Social media users were quick to criticise the star on her choice of gown, questioning why she had shown up “naked”.

One user wrote: “Kendall might be so f****** stupid but she’s [too] pretty to be wearing that trashy dress seriously.”

“I like Kendall but girl...put on some panties (sic),” another added.

The reality star, who recently sparked outrage after leaving fans unconvinced she uses the acne products she has started promoting, was joined by a slew of stars at the annual after party, including fellow model Emily Ratajkowski.

The 27-year-old was flying solo without husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, days after they celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Other guests included Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth who coordinated in black on a night which marked their first red carpet appearance together since tying the knot in December.

Best Actress winner Olivia Colman kept a tight grip on her Oscar as she posed for photographers at the bash. The British star couldn't stop smiling as she arrived to huge congratulations.

She was honoured for her portrayal of eccentric Queen Anne in Yorgos Lanthimos' The Favourite.
