Katie Price has come under fire from Instagram users once more for promoting diet products on social media

The former glamour model has been sharing sponsored posts for weight loss regime Boombod over the past few months, and posted a new video promoting a new flavour of the drinks yesterday.

“A girl’s gotta have options and @boombod brought em with these new flavours,” she wrote alongside the clip, in which she showed followers how to use the products by mixing the powdered sachets with water.

“Their original Black Currant program has been my weight loss go-to for a while now, but when I heard about this new Orange & Mango one… I HAD to try it out – it’s delicious,” she continued in the caption.

Her post sparked confusion and disapproval from her followers, who slammed the video as “rubbish” and implored her to promote a new cause.

“What a load of rubbish,” one follower wrote.

“Dear, dear, dear… this just screams desperation,” another commented.

A third said that it was “heartbreaking” to see Price “promoting this,” while another wrote: “You don’t need to lose weight why don’t you promote happiness or girl power instead of weight loss.”

Standard Online has contacted a representative for Price for comment.

Earlier this month, the 40-year-old sparked criticism for featuring her children in a sponsored post advertising low calorie pancakes and syrups on Pancake Day.

A new trailer for Price’s reality show My Crazy Life shows her boyfriend Kris Boyson putting her on a diet.

The promo clip showed the couple eating dinner in their underwear, so that they “won’t eat as much.”

The show will premiere on Quest Red on April 8 at 10pm.
