Katie Price is taking a break from Loose Women in a bid to save her marriage to Kieran Hayler.

The pair will seek more therapy to try and overcome Hayler’s 10 month affair with Price’s former best friend Jane Pountney.

Price said she thought she had dealt with the pain but said recalling the “traumatic” time while writing her new autobiography made her realise her heart is still “shattered”.

Speaking on Loose Women she said: “The most traumatic thing was me and Kieran. We had therapy and I thought I was OK.

“The past two weeks I've been on my book tour and it's opened up some wounds. It's been awful. I thought I'd dealt with it. I was numb when it all happened. I'm quite good at putting up a defence. But it's been torture.”

She continued: “I haven't got any tears to cry. My heart is shattered, it's broken. We've come two and a half years and Kiran is having to re-live it.”

Price revealed she is also going on a belated honeymoon with Hayler who she said needs “help”.

She said: “We are going to see a therapist to reassure us we're fine.

“It's a relief to me to admit I'm not as strong as people think. Enough is enough. I have to let my barriers down.

“I'm going away with Kieran on a belated honeymoon and to spend time with the kids. I want to help Kieran through this as well. It's been tough on us both. It's been turbulent.”

Price recently reignited her hatred towards Pountney - who she discovered was sleeping with her husband in 2014.

Speaking to Now she said: “Jane Pountney needs to go and die, that's all she needs to do.

“I hope she dies very painfully - if I had a voodoo doll I'd use it every day.”
