Katie Price is reportedly “overjoyed” to have spoken to daughter Princess and son Junior after “four days of no contact”.

The reality star issued a public plea in the early hours of Monday, saying that she had been trying to contact her children in America and asking Peter Andre to “let her know they were okay”.

Reports now claim that “worried sick” Price has spoken to Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, on the phone after reaching out online.

A source told The Sun Online: “Katie was worried sick and was going out of their mind. She kept ringing their phones and couldn’t get through.

“Katie doesn’t have Pete’s number so felt she had to reach out on Twitter to try and get him to respond.

“Katie was overjoyed to speak to them both. She’s a protective mum and was worried naturally.”

They added: “Of course they’re having the best time ever with their dad and the time difference made it hard to stay in touch. But now she’s heard their voices she feels much better.”

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Price for comment.

Junior and Princess have been spending the summer with their father amid Price’s financial woes, with Andre whisking them away to Florida as the holidays draw to a close.

They moved in with Andre back in June with a spokesperson for Price confirming the move in a statement.

It read: “What is important [is] that the focus is on what is best for the children during tough times as Peter has acknowledged.

“Katie is a remarkable mother, Peter is a wonderful father, together they are doing what is best for their children.”
