Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson have reportedly called time on their romance after only a few months of dating.

However, multiple reports in the US claim that things are over, with a source telling E! News that the “casual” relationship had “run its course” but that they are “still friendly”.

Another insider told Page Six that the Saturday Night Live comedian’s public lifestyle had had an impact on their blossoming romance.

“Even though Kate has been in Hollywood for a long time, she struggled with the attention on her relationship with Pete,” a source told the publication. “He lives his life with his heart on his sleeve.”

However, PEOPLE suggest that the pair are “still dating” but have “decided to slow things down” after getting “super serious very fast”.

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Beckinsale and Davidson for comment.

“I've never been in this position before,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “Never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief.”

Davidson’s love life hit the headlines last year after a whirlwind romance with US singer Ariana Grande, which ended abruptly with them calling their engagement off in October. The break-up came weeks after the death of Grande’s ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.

Beckinsale shares daughter Lily, 20, with actor Michael Sheen. The couple were together for eight years before calling it quits in 2003.
